This course covers the different paths one can use to demonstrate compliance with the 2015 Energy Code for both residential and commercial buildings. The course covers the prescriptive paths for both residential and commercial buildings, the UA Alternative and Energy Rating Index for residential buildings, and the Component Alternative, the Total Building Performance path, and ASHRAE 90.1 for commercial buildings. The course also provides an overview of the different software that can be used. Attendees will gain an understanding of the different options that can be used and the types of projects best suited to each.
