DESCRIPTION

Participants explore embodied experience through dance in this workshop facilitated by psychotherapist, expressive arts therapist, author and choreographer Kathleen Rea. Kathleen will lead participants through methods developed in her work with therapeutic performance facilitation. Discover how playful engagement of body awareness and dance can enliven one's connection to the world and those around them. Life experiences will begin to be expressed through movement and shape, and participants will feel the power of non-verbal communication to express the human condition. This workshop is accessible for people with no dance experience and will also be informative for people with extensive dance experience. This workshop is designed for practitioners of healing art professions and those interested in expressive arts.
