Submission guidelines
First Abstract Submittal
Please submit your abstract title, a one to two line summary and your bio by March 31, 2020 to begin your placement on the program. This also enables FLMS to obtain continuing education credits from DACS.
Final Abstract Format Requirements
• Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts that fall broadly within the technical symposium tracks and/or session topics.
• Please use the format below and save in MICROSOFT WORD with your last name as the file name. You do not need to specify a session. Please limit abstracts to approximately 300 words.
• Clearly indicate whether you are submitting an abstract for an oral presentation or a poster.
• Submit abstracts via e-mail to Maryann@FLMS.net. Abstracts not meeting formatting requirements will be returned to the author for correction. You do not have to register in advance for your abstract to be considered.
Additional Notes:
• Symposium fees are not waived for speakers or other participants. All presenters must register for the Symposium.
• Oral presentations are 15 minutes long and must be presented in Microsoft PowerPoint with a Widescreen format. Connection of individual computers to the session equipment will not be allowed.
• Posters should be no larger than 4 feet wide and 3 feet high.
• Authors of Symposium papers will be asked to submit an extended abstract for inclusion into the Symposium proceedings that will be distributed at the Symposium. Details for preparing the extended abstract will be provided with the acceptance notification.
