The play's the thing in this 8 week exploration of character, conflict, dramatic action, and comedy. Students will collaboratively write a play, rehearse it, and perform it on the final day, under the direction of John Morogiello. For grade levels 5 - 8. Classes are held at Best Medicine Rep, located at Lakeforest Mall, 701 Russell Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Green Flower entrance between Ruby Tuesday and Sears.

Best Medicine Rep is a nonprofit, professional theater company that develops and produces comedies. It is dedicated to the artistic, educational, and cultural development of the Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village area.
John Morogiello is a playwright in residence with the Maryland State Arts Council. He has taught playwriting to Maryland children for over 20 years. His plays have been produced Off-Broadway, in Europe, and at some of America's premier regional theaters, including Old Globe, Actors Theatre of Louisville, American Players Theatre, and Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills.
