Festivities consists of varied activities including a kick-off parade, live music, nightly dances, calf roping, bull riding, and the annual crowning of the JCSP Rodeo Queen. Events begin on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday night.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse As a non-profit organization, The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse (JCSP) strives to be an integral part of the community. The JCSP provides family-oriented activities and services related to the deep western heritage Texas is famous for. In addition to activities for members and affiliated organizations, a major event each year is the presentation of the PRCA rodeo. For over 50 consecutive years, the members of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse have brought the finest outdoor professional rodeos in the United States to the residents of Johnson and surrounding counties. Each June, the public is cordially invited to the annual professional rodeo event held at the JCSP facility on Highway 174, just 2.3 miles south of Johnson County Courthouse in downtown Cleburne. Plan to enjoy an evening of great professional rodeo entertainment in a family-oriented environment.
