Fine-Art Bird Photography in Florida

Join me on Florida's Space Coast to immerse yourself in the art of bird photography. This exclusive instructional photo safari is limited to 6 participants for a personal experience that you can't get from the big tours. I offer "ask me anything" instruction during the safari to ensure you're getting the best quality images. Because of the small group size, I'm able to offer a more intimate instructional style that allows each participant to get the knowledge they need to succeed.

Each day, we will have the opportunity download and process our images together as a group, get critiques, and learn new techniques to make your photos into fine-art masterpieces. I will work with you to capture and process the best possible images into beautiful finished products.

Lodging is available at the group hotel for an additional fee; contact me to make a reservation.

• Viera Wetlands

• Canaveral National Seashore

• Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

Instructional Fee: $1399 per photographer (maximum 6)

Your fee includes the following:

• Hands-on field instruction and photography sessions
• Classroom instruction on digital processing techniques including Lightroom, Photoshop, and plug-in software
• Image review and critique sessions

Participants are responsible for:

• Meals

Option 1: Lodging Supplement ($580)
I will arrange your room reservation at the group hotel. Includes 4 nights lodging in a King room at the group hotel. Price includes taxes and fees.

Option 2: Book your own lodging at the group hotel or elsewhere.

General Itinerary

Day 1: Orientation and technical setup workshop at the group hotel

Days 2-4: Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. Mid-day post-processing workshop and image review sessions.

Day 5: Morning shoot at Viera wetlands (optional); depart for home. Safari concludes at 10am.

A $500 deposit will hold your seat until January 1, 2018

Full payment is due on January 2, 2018

Deposits are non-refundable

The workshop fee is non-refundable unless I can back-fill your space, or you may purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.
