Welcome, formerly known as Christ Renews His Parish or CRHP, is a spiritual renewal program that has touched the lives of more than 1,000 St. Michael's parishoners over the past 18 years. The program, now part of Matthew Kelly's Dynamic Catholic Institute, has inspired spiritual growth in many thousands of men and women in 1,400 parishes and 40 states.
All are welcome! Welcome is for anyone 19 years of age or older, not just Catholics! No matter where you are in your spiritual life, a Welcome Renewal Weekend can lead you to a richer faith and deeper connection with our parish community.
- What Happens During the Weekend?
You will hear fellow parishioners share real-life examples of how they have found meaning and hope through the presence of Christ in their lives. You may share as much or as little as you choose. It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity to form meaningful and lasting friendships.
The weekends are held at St. Michaels, with overnight accommodations at the parish's new "Lake House". They begin Saturday morning and end Sunday afternoon. The women's and men's weekends are held on different weekends.
There is no fee to attend. However, a suggested doantion of $40 is asked to help defray the cost of the weekend (meals, snacks, materials, etc.). Welcome is available to everyone, so please give what you are able.
