Priscilla (Missy) Muro was born in Acushnet, MA, into a devout Catholic family. Missy attended parochial school and graduated from a private Catholic academy with a business and secretarial degree. Music is a very important part of Missy’s life. She began singing in the church choir at age 7. In June, 1964, Missy married her husband, Peter. In December, they moved to Schenectady, NY. Missy and Peter had 4 children and have been blessed with 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Missy is an active member of the Church of Immaculate Conception, Glenville, NY, where she sings in the choir, is a part of the Pastoral Care Ministry, and a collection counter. Missy is a member of the Albany NY Chapter of Magnificat. Missy will share how the Divine Mercy Chaplet has become a very central part of her faith journey.
