Dr. Jan is a board certified family physician with an area of concentration in women’s health and fertility. She is a convert to the Catholic faith, married, homeschooling mother of 6. She is a native of PA, who moved to the Capital District from Texas where she entered the Catholic Church and began her pro-life work. There she helped to establish several crisis pregnancy centers and a Catholic physician’s guild.
On October 1, 2013, she was led by the prompting of God and many supporters to open Gianna of Albany, a unique medical practice committed to delivering truly Catholic reproductive health care in service to the women of this diocese and beyond. Gianna is founded on the premise that each person is a precious and unique gift from God. It isthe first practice within a 2-hour radius able to offer NaProTECHNOLOGY™, the exciting breakthrough in women's health and fertility. Using this breakthrough, the practice has treated almost 400 women and helped to bring into the world approximately 40 babies that may have not been here without the help of the clinic, and, of course, the grace of God.
