This backpacking trip is an epic, one of a kind experience, set among the Blue Ridge mountains, along the Appalachian Trail. Participants will receive intensive martial arts training while immersed in the wilderness, also learning survival skills such as firemaking, tracking, edible/medicinal/utilitarian plants, shelter, and more.
This is a three-day, two-night backpacking trip (sleeping on the trail, carrying everything in your backpack).
The group leaves together from Richmond on Friday morning before dawn, and returns on Sunday afternoon around 4.
Included in the price: all meals and instruction.
Participant is responsible for all gear, personal items, and if desired, personal snacks.'
