Fairgrounds Festival - Market Area, 35 Alexandra Street, Berry, NSW, 2535, Australia.

Take a twig and hand carve it into a variety of beads for your own custom necklace. We'll carve and thread them onto some leather cord and you'll walk away with the perfect keepsake or Chrissy gift. All this in an hour at the amazing Fairgrounds Festival in Berry NSW!

Learn from the Spoonsmith, Jeff Donne, whose roaming Spoon School has become a hit up and down the East Coast of Australia. You'll start with a humble twig, and with tuition from Jeff on how to safely and effectively use a simple carving knife you will turn it into an awesome piece of hand carved jewellery.

Everything is provided, just rock up and carve for an hour!

A ticket to this workshop will not grant you access to the festival. Workshops are only open to Fairgrounds Festival ticket holders. Festival tickets are available at: http://fairgrounds.com.au/

Jeff Donne is one of Australia's best known spoon carvers with many years of carving and teaching under his belt. He teaches the traditional method of spoon carving where a small axe and a sharp knife are used to slice away layers of wood from a freshly cut log. It's pure analogue bliss!
