Kench Hill Centre, Kench Hill/Appledore Rd, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 7DG, United Kingdom.
This is one of West Kent Triratna Buddhists' regular Sangha retreats. In addition to our own Sangha it is also open to those who are members of other Triratna Sanghas or who have been on another Triratna retreat.
Our theme will be Sangha, a concept which is rich in meanings encompassing all those who practice the Dharma.
At the transcendental level, it means the fellowship of Enlightened ones, both mythic and human. This is the Sangha Jewel to which we go for refuge.
At the more mundane, everyday level, it includes all of us who follow the Buddha's teaching, supporting each other along the path.
Come and explore Sangha in practice on this weekend retreat, with other Triratna groups from the South-East. There will be meditation, ritual, talks and discussion, as well as free time to relax and enjoy the countryside.
A retreat is Sangha in action, living and practicing together.
It is a wonderful opportunity to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy a weekend of Buddhist practice with other like-minded people.
You will receive details about travelling to Kench Hill, arrival times and what to bring in your order receipt email.
