Step Inside The Walt Disney Birthplace During Creativity Days 2017!
Creativity Days, a FREE community event, is returning to The Walt Disney Birthplace on Saturday, June 24th, 2017! This year's edition will include more of the entertainment, games, art activities, food, and fun that made the first Creativity Days last year a smash hit! See some photos from the event below.
This year, Creativity Days is featuring something new: very rare group tours through the INSIDE of the Birthplace, during its ongoing restoration!
Each guided tour will take you through the parlor, kitchen, dining room and upstairs family bedrooms, well before the project opens to the public. Very few people will get to see the inside of the home during this all-important phase of the restoration!
There are two guided tour options:
V.I.P. Tours
Hosted by the project's Lead Restoration Architect and the project's Head of Creative Design, these tours will last approximately 20 to 25 minutes and take guests even deeper into the past, present and amazing future of the Birthplace! V.I.P. tour guests will also receive a special souvenir of their visit.
General Admission Tours
These tours will be hosted by a Walt Disney Birthplace project representative, will last approximately 15 to 20 minutes. You'll get to learn more about the history of the home, the restoration process, and get a sneak peek at the exciting concepts being developed for the complete guest experience! There will be three of these tours scheduled during the hours of the Creativity days event.
Imagine standing in the very room where Walt Disney was born... you'll be able to do just that, months before almost anyone else will!
Between the four tours, there are only 40 available slots, so be sure to order your tickets today!
Note that each tour group will meet at the front door. Be sure to print out and bring your ticket confirmation, and plan on arriving at the front door about 10 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin.
And remember that this is the only ticketed feature at Creativity Days, which helps keep the rest of the event COMPLETELY FREE for the community!
