WALI One Day Workshop Fort Wayne

We are sorry to inform you that we are canceling the June 30 WALI One Day Workshop. The event was coming together, but in the end we were unable to get the right team of clinicians together and bring them to Fort Wayne at the right price. Thank you for your support, and thank you for the time that you have invested in getting your teams together. Be assured that we are intent on bringing a WALI workshop to the city of Fort Wayne. We intend to regroup and make plans for a future date.

Steve Young, the director of WALI, has this to say:

Dear friends,

Today I made the very difficult decision to postpone our WALI One Day event scheduled for June 30 to a future date.  It was a difficult decision because the worship arts leaders who make up the WALI team of clinicians love what we do and have been very excited to be with all of you in the Fort Wayne area.  It’s been a little over two years since the WALI Summit in Carmel, IN and we were looking forward to returning to Indiana.  The decision was also difficult given the tremendous enthusiasm demonstrated by the host congregation (Southwest Lutheran).  Our goal from the outset was to bring a high quality training event for pastors, worship leaders, instrumentalists, vocalists, and tech team members to Fort Wayne.  Unfortunately, a combination of factors made the cost of putting on such an event prohibitive at this time.  Instead of cutting costs and offering a watered-down version of our WALI One Day, I’ve made the decision to look to a future date in which we can bring a high quality event back to Indiana.  Thanks for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience of having to reschedule.
