The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is pleased to announce Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Training. This class is offered free of charge, and is open to all personnel who work with or are involved with the UCR NIBRS Program. This training will be offered many times throughout the state over the next year and a half, so you may wish to wait for a training class scheduled near you.
Date: March 29, 2017, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and March 30, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students must attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion. Registration will start at 7:30 AM. A one hour lunch will be on your own.
Hosted by: Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, 13101 E. Broncos Parkway, Centennial, 80112. Registration is open to the first 76 students on a first come, first served basis. Those that register after the first 44 students will need to request to be placed on a wait list. Each student requesting to attend will need to complete their OWN registration. Please do not register anyone except yourself, as we will be sending e-mails to all attendees pre and post training. If you register for someone else, both registrations will be cancelled.
Class Details: The session will include training developed by the CBI UCR Program and will be a full day and a half (12 hours total).

- Group A Offenses - Crime Against Person, Property, and Society
- Group B Offenses
- Location Codes
- Property Codes
- Data Elements and Values
- New UCR NIBRS Data Collections
Presenter: This training will be conducted by Ms. Anita Palmerino of the CBI UCR Program.
This class is for the user with little to no NIBRS experience. As a reminder, this training is for criminal justice personnel only.
Once you have attended the class, you will be directed to take a 10-20 question exam. After the successful completion of the exam, the student will be issued a certificate of completion.
