There’s been a lot of talk lately about the importance of “gut health,” but what does that really mean and how do we achieve it? It turns out we all have good bacteria in our stomachs and we need to feed these healthy bugs to keep our digestive system humming along. When our gut is out of whack, it can affect our mental health, energy levels, skin condition and so much more.
Five years ago Chef Taji Marie decided to make some drastic dietary changes to help resolve lifelong digestive ailments. During this process she discovered that the more she ate to keep her gut bacteria healthy, the better she felt. She also learned many lessons about importance of slowing down and listening to her body. Most importantly, she uncovered a new way of eating, cooking and living that has transformed her life.
Join us for a discussion and cooking demonstration where Taji will share tips on eating for gut healthy, and how she maintains a deep body-mind connection in the midst of a busy life.
Taji will also be leading Trust UR Gut Retreats in Ojai, California this year. Sign up here to receive information on early registration.
