The C. G. Jung Association of Central Ohio (JACO) presents
The Interplay of the Masculine & Feminine Archetypes
“Within every man there is the Reflection of a Woman, and within every woman there is the Reflection of a Man.”
- Hyemeyohsts Storm, American Indian author of Seven Arrows
From a Jungian perspective, masculine and feminine dimensions of the soul are elemental energies that exist in all of us and are on display in art and contemporary social issues. In this final installment of a three-part series on feminine and masculine archetypes, Kathy and John will unite the insights shared in the previous two JACO seminars and guide us further as we attempt to understand and integrate what Gareth Hill calls “the natural flow of opposites in the psyche”.
Drawing on the work of Hill, Marie-Louise von Franz, John Sanford, and Jean Shinoda Bolen, this interactive seminar will explore topics such as the anima and animus, gender identity and expression, archetypal patterns of masculine and feminine, useful models for individual development and how to access archetypal energies for our personal journey to greater wholeness. We invite you to participate in a deep, inspiring conversation. Please bring something for taking notes.
