The End Festival - Rare Trades area, Tambaroora St, Hill End, NSW, 2850, Australia.

Hop on board this three hour spatula workshop at the End Festival set in historic Hill End NSW.

You will learn how to make a spatula straight from the tree using just a small axe and a sharp knife.

This workshop is perfect for beginners. We provide everything you need (tools and wood) and all you need to bring is you, some closed top shoes and a willingness to whittle :)

If whittling fever sets in (it tends to do that!), you can book another three hour workshop in the afternoon where you will learn how to make your own spoon!

It's beautiful happy slowness!

Jeff Donne is one of Australia's best known spoon carvers with many years of carving and teaching under his belt. Jeff teaches the traditional method of spoon carving where a small axe and a sharp knife are used to slice away layers of wood from a freshly cut log. It's pure analogue bliss!
