We are very excited to launch our charity fundraising tournaments for 2017! Read below for details!All funds raised go to benefit Make-A-Change Inc., to benefit children in need who are suffering to neglect, abuse, parental drug addiction, etc. We impact kids through great memories and education, to mentor them on the right path in life!We will have 2 options for teams. Some teams can opt-in to participating in all 3 double elimination tournaments or teams can participate in our tournament of the year, hosted in August/September.Goal is to have 10 teams for all 3 tournaments. If we get more than 10 teams, we will have a second date and split the brackets into two dates, explained below. Goal is to have 16 teams at the TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR.All teams will be co-ed, unless we get 4+ male only teams.Dates of tournaments:6/3/2017 we will be playing in Clinton, MA at Savage Field.2nd bracket if we get more than 10 teams: 6/17/2017 at Savage Field.7/15/2017: we will be playing in Clinton, Ma at Savage Field.2nd bracket, if we get more than 10 teams: 7/15/2017 at Savage Field.TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR: 8/26th. Field TBD (shooting to have it at Coolidge Parks in Fitchburg, MA.)All teams will have a sponsored t-shirt from Make-A-Change Inc. Each team will have there own seperate colored t-shirt for their team.The winners of the Tournament of the year will be presented with championship ring awards at our annual Gala. All players participating in all 3 tournaments will receive one complimentary ticket to our 2017 Gala. The Gala will be our event of the year with a dinner, dancing, keynote speaking, and award presentations. *****PLAYERS WILL NOT receive THEIR TICKET TO THE GALA UNLESS THEY COMMIT TO ATTENDING THE GALA. *****Price: To play in all 3 tournaments, the cost will be $80 per player, which includes t-shirts and a ticket to the Gala (for those who commit to attending). To Play in the TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR: Each team will get a Make-A-Change Inc t-shirt and the cost will be $35. If a team plays only in the final tournament of the year, they will get a 50% discount on their Gala ticket.The award for the winning teams will be a Make-A-Change Inc Softball Ring for each of the players on the original roster. Team's playing in all 3 tournaments will have to register their team by April 1st with a $200 deposit. Full payment for the 3 tournaments will be due by June 1st. Teams only playing in the TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR will have to register their team by July 1st and make the full payment on that date. If teams need to add players to their team later in the year, its important to reach out to us. All payments made go directly to benefiting Make-A-Change Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, EIN: 81-3036441. All payments should be treated as a donation and are non-refundable. Make-A-Change Inc. will provide a letter to each person who requests for a tax write off letter for tax purposes.
