The workshop begins at 8:30am on Tues 4/17 & adjourns at 4pm on Wed 4/18
Beginning at 1pm on Monday 4/16, 30 attendees are welcome to tour the St. Pete Marine Science research centers.
The goal of this workshop is to bring together academics, government, and coastal and emergency managers to understand our present capabilities for simulating storm processes and response and determine/prioritize where advancements are needed. There will be a subsequent call for proposals, funded by the participating federal agencies, for research projects that focus on addressing pertinent questions identified in the meeting. More information and a draft agenda will be posted soon.
