Come celebrate the last Friday before Orthodox Lent with the Yale Russian Chorus! In Russia, villagers will be lighting straw men on fire for "Maslenitsa," but here in New York City our chorus will light your heart on fire with music of the slavic world. Cossack ballads, soldier's marches, and sacred songs -- experience it all, brought to you by the choir that has serenaded everyone from President Clinton to the newest Russian Ambassador to the U.S., Sergei Antonov. Proceeds will go towards the Prince Vladimir Youth Association.
