Boston by Bike(share)

Our public bike share system is for you! Join staff and volunteers to learn how Bluebikes works and enjoy a short ride to some great public spaces that are easy to access by bike share. If you have basic skills bike riding skills, but need to build your confidence riding on the street, this ride is right for you. We will start out on low-stress streets and paths, so you can get comfortable on the bike and build your skills slowly.

Bluebikes and helmets are provided at no cost for all participants. .If you cannot yet ride independently across a parking lot, please do not register for this event. 

Boston Bikes invites any youth or adults (16-years or older)  to particate in our Boston by Bike Share rides. Registration is required. 

Cancellation policy

Space is limited. If you know you can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation, or contact kim.foltz@boston.gov so that we can plan accordingly.

Participants will learn how the bike share system works, and go on a short ride to visit great public spaces that are easy to access by Blue Bikes!
