MN DNR Firearms Safety Online Field Day
This class is for the DNR firearm Safety students that have completed the online training and need a field day certification. This is a 4 hour long session.
***Do not sign up for the field day if you have signed up for the complete class. The complete class will include a field day. ***
The $25 fee covers all of the students Gun Rentals, Ammunition, Targets, and Range Fees. With the $25 fee, the student will get member rates at the shooting range for 6 months from their class date (must provide dated certificate to recieve discount). Familes are also able to deduct the $25 fee from a full membership price.
These fees are regulated by Metro Gun Club - After completion of this course the student will be responsible to pay an additional $7.50 to the DNR for their certificate online.
Registration opens at 7:15am. Please be sure to bring your Field Day voucher and Government Issued ID.
By taking the class online you're fulfilling all required classroom work. You will still need to attend the field day (Pre-registration for field day is required). You will also need to have your printed Online Field Day Voucher present with you or you will not be able to take the class.
What will you need to bring with you the day of the class?
- Online Field Day Voucher
- 16yrs and older will need a Government issued ID (Drivers license, Birth Certificate or Passport).
- Under 16yrs will need a Government issued ID (Birth certificate or passport).
How old do you need to be to take the DNR online certification class?
Minimum age is 11 to take the course.
