About This Class:

Learn to capture the beauty of fall in photographs! Join guest instructor Jackie Curts of Jackie Curts Photography for a workshop on Nature Photography. This workshop is designed to develop your creative and technical skills. You will learn about composition, lighting, depth of field, creative blur, and much more. The workshop will consist of classroom time to learn to see through new eyes and a hands-on session to practice your new skills with the instructor's guidance. 

Materials:

Bring a notebook, your own camera - preferably a DSLR or bridge camera - and a tripod if you have one. Dress for the weather as a portion of this workshop is outside. 

About the Instructors:

Jackie has been a photographer for 20 years, and she's a naturalist who enjoys sharing knowledge with others. She has been a photography instructor with Ivy Tech Community College and has taught various photo workshops through Indy Photo Coach. Specializing in wildlife and lifestyle photography, she has traveled the world shooting her favorite shubjects - wildlife in its natural habitat. Her adventures have taken her to the Oregon coast, Southwestern deserts, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, Badlands, the Smoky Mountains, Colorado, Nebraska, British Columbia, and South Africa.
