This nine (9) hour course teaches basic first aid, CPR (adult, child, & infant), and procedures for administering aid to choking victims and the use of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). This course covers all subjects required by the WA State Department of Labor & Industries for first aid classes. Upon completion of this course, students receive a Basic First Aid/CPR card issued by Emergency Medical Training Associates, Inc. and a course text. The card is valid for two years from the date of the class. (Please note: Students are responsible for ensuring that this class meets their requirements.)
