IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS
All participants are required to wear a yellow Little Legends rash shirt. If your child has one from past programs, please make sure it is in a good condition and not faded (rash shirts are fluoro yellow for water safety requirements).
If your child does NOT have a previous program rash shirt or their previous shirt is in poor condition, please ensure you select the appropriate ticket type above.
LITTLE LIFESAVING LEGENDS IS A NIPPERS PROGRAM, SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN WITH CHALLENGES, RANGING FROM ASPERGER’S, INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY, ASD, COGNITIVE DELAY, SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES, AND CHILDREN STRUGGLING TO OBTAIN A DIAGNOSIS.
This program, aimed at children between the ages of five and 16, is a modified nippers program run by qualified and experienced surf lifesavers to teach water safety skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
Throughout the program, children will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities and games encompassing water skills and lifesaving techniques, all designed to slowly build their confidence in the water and teach them how to stay safe at the beach.
As an inclusive organisation, we’d also like to open up the program to any and all siblings as well to help support and encourage participants.
