Overview

Leading Change Through Projects is a leadership development workshop that builds the competencies necessary to lead and manage change in government agencies. During the workshop, participants are guided through hands-on exercises that apply the concepts of the course to their own initiatives.  

Course Objectives

In this course, participants will learn how to:

• Identify when a change to a process, policy, procurement or system is needed.
• Evaluate the impact of the change from various customer perspectives.
• Take the initiative to plan and implement the change.
• Arrange for a cross functional team to develop a project strategy that includes:   
• Current and Future State Evaluation
• Requirements Definition
• Evaluation of Solution Alternatives
• Customer and Business Impacts
• A Training and Communication Plan

To reinforce the concepts taught in the course, participants are guided through hands-on exercises that apply the concepts of the course to their own projects and are provided with tools and templates for on-going use.
