Late November EP Launch // Presented by Neighbourhood Sessions

The Neighbourhood Sessions Team has a passion for enriching the North Queensland music scene by bringing charming tunes to curious locations. Neighbourhood Sessions events are all about bringing original songwriters together with the local community in a safe, warm and fun environment. Neighbourhood Sessions was born into a humble beginning in January 2016 where Nicole and Sam hosted a picnic style event in their own backyard to showcase local songwriters to the Townsville community. Unexpected and overwhelming support from the community to attend this event and future events has allowed us to continue on our Neighbourhood Sessions adventure. Neighbourhood Sessions has since hosted several “Secret Location” pop up events, including an event held on the Strand and Neighbourhood Sessions on a Boat. Neighbourhood Sessions have also collaborated with Otto’s Fresh Food Market to present YAY Festival in Otto’s Alley. A milestone that was made by Neighbourhood Sessions in July 2017 was the first annual Neck Of The Woods Music Festival. Neck Of The Woods is a Neighbourhood Sessions style music festival hosting some of Triple J’s spotlight acts, and a selection of North Queensland’s best original musicians. The festival is set on a lush property 30 minutes from the Townsville CBD and is a 2 day camping style event. The festival’s features include over 20 hours of live music, food trucks, festival marketplace, BYO drinks, camping and a family friendly environment.
