The Jamaican Fruit & Flowers Artistic Experience will be a night of writing, photography and art in a variety of forms. We will have excerpts from Cris Avery's recently released series, Jamaican Fruit. Armani Dae will have fresh photographs, books and more visuals for sale. 

Come for the artistic experience but stay for the good time.

We'll have Music, Refreshments and tons of fun!

Cris Benjamin

Cris Avery is a Jamaican-American, writer, musician, dancer, advocate, and so much more it wouldn’t fit. His day job is helping marginalized communities access medically necessary care. He currently resides in Bronx, NY, USA. Avery has appeared in several off-Broadway shows, movies and documentaries. Avery has performed on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre also singing with the cast of Rent as part of a student art program. Avery’s published several articles, poems, and stories under a variety of pen names. Armani Dae is a Jamaican-American Artist (Photographer, Painter, Actor), Author and Mentor among many other things. He is a creative, traveling freelance artist born & raised in Philadelphia, PA (currently traveling cross country). From photography, to pouring positive energy into others Armani prides himself on creating natural, raw and uncut artwork that speaks volume. His work including photography, written materials, and more always sheds light and brings awareness to many different important life aspects such as Transgender Rights and Equity, Self Love, Respect, Honesty, Equality, Community, the importance of Art and the expression of life through it.
