ITE Toronto Section is pleased to present our first breakfast session of 2017,

which will introduce members to Toronto's new Complete Streets

Guidelines. The Guidelines encourage street design which takes into

consideration the needs of all users and prioritizes the safety of the most

vulnerable – children, seniors and people with disabilities. The Guidelines are

designed to help decision-makers, practitioners and communities make more

informed choices when prioritizing the competing demands for space on city

streets. This talk will briefly cover the development process of the

Guidelines, the Guideline contents and checklists, and next steps. A copy of

the guidelines can be found at www.toronto.ca/completestreets
