This will be a detailed introduction to the principles and practice of forest gardening, based in an established allotment-scale forest garden. Including
- pests, fertility and weeding in a forest garden
- planning and implementing a forest garden
- forest garden crops
- cooking with forest garden ingredients

If the weather is good we will spend much of the day in the forest garden, but we have a wet weather venue just 100m from the garden.

Lunch is not provided. Tea and food should be available in the Community Centre and there are shops nearby, or bring a packed lunch.

Alan Carter is an experienced forest gardener who writes the forest gardening blog 'Of Plums and Pignuts'.
