The All-Island Innovation Programme is an InterTradeIreland funded programme established to promote and encourage innovation across the island.

For our first master class of the current three-year programme, UCC are delighted to announce that David Alton of UCC's Management & Marketing Department will deliver a workshop entitled "Strategic Digital Marketing: Winning business insights for the SME sector" .  This seminar takes place in the UCC Library Creative Zone on Tuesday June 5th 2018 (9.15-11.15 am) and is an applied session targeted at the regional industrial audience.  Attendance is free but registration in advance is required to facilitate room capacity and  catering.  The event will be followed by light refreshments and networking opportunity for attendees.

Overview

The talk, delivered by Dave Alton of University College Cork, illuminates the dynamic digital environment as it impacts on international business in 2018. Specifically, the talk will discuss: the impact of big-tech (Amazon, Facebook, Google, and Apple) on the SME sector and society as a whole; how to create a digital brand within the attention economy; and, how to construct a marketing funnel for your business, utilizing data-driven decision making.
