Join the IABC Calgary Chapter Board for the chapter's second open board meeting of the year. The meeting will be followed by the presentation: "Getting certified: why it's more than just the letters." Come learn why professional certifications give you the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise and provide evidence of your outstanding abilities.
Nancy Helledie, IABC Board Director, Professional Standards will talk about the IABC certification process and communicators who have experienced the process will give their perspectives on why it's important.
Fee: The meeting is free to attend.
Time: 5:00 - 7:30 pm. Networking begins at 5 p.m., followed by the board meeting and then presentation.
