Each year, the staff and faculty of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary host a meal event at the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). In 2018, we are glad to host a luncheon for our friends at the PCA General Assembly and in the Metro Atlanta area.
This year's GPTS PCA General Assembly Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 14th at Noon at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta (where the General Assembly will be held). The particular room will be posted as soon as it is assigned to us.
This year, Dr. Joseph A. Pipa, Jr. (President, GPTS), Mr. Zachary Groff (Director of Advancement & Admissions, GPTS), and Pastor Nick Batzig of New Covenant PCA in Richmond Hill, GA will address those gathered.
The cover charge for the meal is $10 per person, to help to defray costs.

Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary was founded in 1987 by Presbyterian church elders to equip the next generation of Reformed and Presbyterian preachers, pastors, and churchmen for Christ's kingdom. The faculty equips called men to glorify God and to serve the church with ordinary means of grace ministry. We endeavor to provide candidates for the ministry with theologically confessional, religiously experimental, academically rigorous, and personally crafted preparation for the ministry.
Dr. Joseph A. Pipa, Jr. is a charter Teaching Elder in the PCA, and has ministered as a pastor in Mississippi, Texas, and California. He has been President of GPTS since 1998. His passion is for glorifying Christ through preaching and equipping men for "ordinary means of grace" ministry.
Zachary Groff is the Director of Advancement & Admissions at GPTS, where he has served since January 2017. He is also a part-time MDiv student at GPTS.
Nick Batzig (BDiv '05) is the Pastor of New Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Richmond Hill, GA, where he has been ministering since 2008. Nick blogs at Feeding On Christ, and has written extensively for Tabletalk Magazine, Modern Reformation, Reformation 21 and The Christward Collective.
