The GeorgianDC picnic is fast approaching. May 19, 2018 is around the corner and we will be happy to see you at BON AIR PARK, Arlngton, VA from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. 
 
We have a lot to celebrate: the 5th Anniversary of GeorgianDC, the end of the year for the Academy of Georgian Heritage and most importantly, the 100th year Anniversary of the First Republic of Georgia!!!
 
Together with our partners, sponsors and volunteers, we are putting together a fun program for you and your family to enjoy:
 
- Traditional Georgian BBQ (Mtsvadi) Making Workshop - hosted by Malkhaz Maisashvili, the Chef of famous SUPRA DC Restaurant; http://www.supradc.com
 
- Themed T-Shirt Design Competition  - brought to us by the Georgian Handmade Clothing and Accessory Company ZEGMADE. The winner will receive the T-shirt with 's design and credits will be placed on the company's limited edition line of products. How cool is that?! 
 
- Old Tbilisi Themed Arts and Crafts Workshop will be held by our visual artist Tami Mosulishvili. https://www.facebook.com/Tamis-ART-1195639230448341
The supplies for the workshop will be kindly provided by the Georgian Center  http://georgiancenter.org
 
- Students of the Academy of Georgian Heritage https://www.georgianacademy.org
will have a number of sports activities for kids and adults and will show off what they learned in the Free Movement Class under supervision of Vato Tsikurishvili of Synetic Theater; 
 
- Try your luck at the traditional Raffle Ticket Lottery to win great prizes from our wonderful partners and sponsors:
