We would like to invite you to participate in our scheme FilmLab. This will be a fascinating opportunity to meet and discuss many issues around the making of short films, about our Pears Short Film Fund, and many other issues including improving your scripts. FilmLab8 will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7:30pm.We will meet Josh Appignanesi who will share with us how, to his surprise, he realized that some of his films deal with Jewish cinematic storytelling.Josh Appignanesi is an award-winning British film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for the feature film Song of Songs (2006), starring Nathalie Press, and The Infidel (2010) written by David Baddiel and starring Omid Djalili. Josh has written and directed several short films and was also the executive producer of ‘samuel-613 ’ (2015 TPSFF@UKJF Winner, BAFTA nominated).
