About Enzo Unified

So… what is Enzo Unified? Simply put, Enzo Unified is a server that simplifies access to complex services and hardware by exposing everything as a native REST and SQL endpoint. This is accomplished by the existence of "Adapters" that know how to communicate with those complex services, such as Twitter, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce… and so forth.

Because Enzo Unified works with both native SQL and REST requests, the advantages differ based on which protocol you use to communicate with Enzo. And because Enzo Unified is a "server" product, it can be installed in the cloud, or in a data center.  All complex API processing happens inside Enzo Unified.

For developers, this means that client applications, such as IoT devices, mobile apps, and even regular .NET applications can communicate to Enzo Unified using simple REST commands, without having Nuget packages, NPM packages, or other SDKs. The heavy lifting happens centrally inside Enzo Unified. It also means the client applications can be Javascript, Java, or other non-Microsoft technologies.

For database administrators, using Enzo Unified means that SQL Server can tap into a world of data directly, enabling direct database message exchanges, SQL to no-sql communication, sending messages on a Message Bus from a Stored Procedure, sending text messages from a Trigger, accessing flat files stored on an FTP site from a View, and much more.

What You Could Build

Using the Enzo Unified SDK, you could build an adapter that accesses something unique: sensor information, IoT development, real-time stock quotes, payment services, locate phones in real-time… and make these capabilities available through simple REST and/or SQL commands.  You could build things that are rather unique; for example you could easily create a truck monitoring solution easily through Enzo Unified and send text messages or make phone calls when a truck reaches 50 miles an hour. Enzo Unified provides you with the platform to build truly unique solutions wrapped behind trivial SQL statements and REST commands.
