A high quality curriculum reflects the values and priorities of the districts, schools, teachers and students that it serves.  

Using tools and processes from Ensuring High Quality Curriculum: How to Design, Revise or Adopt Curriculum Aligned to Student Success (ASCD), book author and LCI consultant Angela Lalor will guide participants through a review of a sample curriculum - or their own - to determine how it addresses attributes of quality.  They will focus on the role of meaningful organizing centers to structure their curriculum and how to best align curriculum to content, process and dispositional standards that identify valued outcomes. 

By the end of the session, participants will develop an action plan helping teachers and administrators plan next steps for revision and development of their curriculum.
