JACO announces the 2017 Bauza Lecture
June 2-3 at First Community Church/Cambridge Blvd

“Dreams and the Dynamics of Transformation”

Presented by Richard J. Sweeney, PhD

We hope you can join us for a vibrant second annual Bauza Lecture.  Established in honor of Claire Bauza - a charter member/founder of JACO who served on the JACO Board, founded the Jung Association Gallery and for many years facilitated dream groups, this program on dreams is timely and appropriate.

During “Dreams and the Dynamics of Transformation,” Dick Sweeney will explore how dreams and fantasy images manifest the creative, inspirational and healing aspects of our being.  The program will also consider how our dreams express what C.G. Jung called "the transcendent function" that promotes both personal and societal transformation.   Specific suggestions will be given for understanding and interpreting dreams in this way.

A greatly anticipated lecturer, Dick Sweeney has a gift for helping people understand Jungian concepts more clearly and deeply. A Jungian psychoanalyst and licensed professional clinical counselor in private practice, he holds a doctoral degree in psychology and religion from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. He also holds a diploma in analytical psychology from the C.G. Jung Institute, Zurich, and is a member of their international faculty.  Dick resides in Columbus with his wife, Ellen, also a Jungian analyst.

The weekend program begins with a Friday lecture and continues through a Saturday workshop with member and not-yet-member registration advantages.

Members who register early will have the opportunity to receive a free JACO CD (first 25 member registrants will be entered in a drawing).  All members receive the member-discount rate for the entire registration period.

Not Yet Members will receive an early bird discount if registered by May 19.  If you’d like to join JACO to receive even more advantages, scroll down for details.
