The Houstonian , 111 N Post Oak Ln, Houston , TX, 77024, United States.

On Tuesday, October 31, 2017 (NOTE NEW DATE DUE TO HURRICANE HARVEY), Connect Community will host its inaugural luncheon at The Houstonian (111 N Post Oak Lane, Houston, TX 77024) from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The theme for the event is Connect and Amplify, as our work focuses on these two key principles. Our organization connects both residents in the Sharpstown/Gulfton community to one another and to vital resources from best-in-class nonprofit providers as well as service providers to each other who, by working together, amplify the quality of life and career outcomes in the community.

This gathering will bring together city leaders, community members, nonprofit partners, and all those who believe that Houston is better when we all have the opportunity to thrive. Together with our founding partners, Legacy Community Health, YMCA of Greater Houston, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, KIPP Houston Public Schools, and Houston Center for Literacy, we invite you and your guests to join us and celebrate the stories of those who have amplified their own lives through the powerful formula of hard work and just the right amount of support and those who see these stories as ones of hope and possibility for their own lives.
