Join award winning Director and adjudicator for AMDA's College and Conservatory, Nick Degruccio, as he personally coaches you on your audition selections and material choices.  Plus give you priceless insight into what college adjudicators are looking for when choosing whom to bring into their programs! 

 

This workshop will:

·    Support you in select appropriate audition material

·    Personally coach & advise you on your audition song and monologue.  Plus enhance your overall performance and package.

·     Help guide you and your family through the complex, sometimes overwhelming audition/interview process.  

 

Being thoroughly prepared and confident that you're presenting yourself at your best in your interviews and auditions will give you an edge over the other audition applicants!

ABOUT NICK DEGRUCCIO

Director Nick Degruccio is best known to San Diego audiences for his direction of The Full Monty at SDMT and Next To Normal, where he was nominated for best direction for the San Diego Critics Circle Awards. 

 

He is the proud recipient of the LADCC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre and is an alumnus of the Lincoln Center Theatre Director’s Lab West and is currently serving as an adjudicator for the AMDA’s west coast theatre arts programs.   

 

He recently directed In The Heights (Orlando Shakespeare),In The Heights (TUTS), Man of La Mancha (Orlando Shakespeare), Guys & Dolls (TUTS), The Last Five Years (La Mirada Theatre), Carrie(UCLA), Southern California Premiere of First Date (LA Mirada Theatre), Sondheim’s Company (Cabrillo Music Theatre) and the world premiere of The End Of It at the Matrix TheatreAdditionally he directed Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory for The Laguna Playhouse and The Andrews Brothers at Coyote Stage Works where he won Best Director for the Desert League Awards.
