We invite you to be trained and equipped in the groundbreaking work of Bridges Out of Poverty and its ongoing impact in our region

Bridges Out of Poverty workshops offer employers, community and government organizations, social service agencies, businesses and individuals powerful tools for change.  Based on Dr. Ruby Payne’s A Framework for Understanding Poverty, Bridges workshops provide proven ideas that will improve local mission development, build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving from poverty to sustainability.

This workshop will:

  • Identify resources and strengths
  • Develop an action plan to improve services
  • Bring people from all sectors together to view poverty through a new lens
  • Build skill sets for management to help guide employees and increase retention
  • Examin communication problems
  • Provide insights into the challenges and strengths of those who live in poverty
  • Introduce strategies for changing program designs, policies and procedures to improve outcomes
