Cost for the class is $60 per person for AHA and $55 for ASHI.
AHA guidlines require that you have a G2015 Student Handbook, which costs an additional $17 (AHA certifications only). If you have a G2015 student manual, you can bring it and will not be required to buy a new one. You will use a hardcopy in class and will receive a link to access a digital copy after the class. If you would like, you can purchase a hardcopy in class at an additional cost.
If you have a current AHA BLS certification, or if your certification has been expired for no more than 30 days, you must take this class.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is an American Heart Association approved class designed for the Healthcare professional. i.e., EMT, RN, CNA, LVN. If you are working in a hospital setting, are in EMT or Nursing school this is the class for you. The course will cover basic CPR for adult, child, infant, and two person. It will include airway management, bag valve use, and AED training. All participants who successfully complete the written exam and skills demonstration will receive a BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card that is valid for two years.
American Heart Association certification is recommended for in Hospital employment, Nursing school programs, and international use.
