We are living in a time of spiritual awakening and through that awakening, the ancient teachings are calling out to so many. Shamanism is a deep and very traditional path that many are being called to walk.
Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and a way of life from cultures around the planet. The teachings of shamanism focus on our connection to nature and promote well-being of all creation. Traditionally this teaching would be done one to one and passed down verbally. These skills would be honed from teacher to apprentice. This is still done with many of us who are on this path. In this modern world that we live in, there are different ways to gain knowledge and understanding. We are more practical in our fast paced lives. Not everyone is called to the same kind of shamanic practice. We are learning to take the traditional teachings and use them in today’s world.
This is an introductory evening to share stories, ask questions and gain clarity about these teachings and if this is the path for you. The Practical Shamanism Course has come together over the years that I have been walking this path. It brings these ancient ways to the modern world. It will help you to have safe practices for yourself as well as those you work with. The call to be of service to the people is not an easy one to follow, but those of us who do have a moral and spiritual obligation to share this path with those who will step up.
