Follow us to Beach Road Hotel in Bondi on Tuesday the 28th of March, where Sydney’s own FlexMami and Yogi extraordinaire Naya Marie will be ready to transform Beach Road’s upstairs band room into a Zen palace, where all your downward-twerking dreams will come true.
10% of the profits made at All of the Tights will be donated to The Rough Period; a Sydney based initiative started by local ladies Jasmine Coronado, Amber Sisson and Noni Cragg with the simple objective of providing our sisters who are sleeping rough in Sydney with safe and clean sanitary items. Everyday for vulnerable and at risk women, each month brings a shameful and traumatic experience, suffering indignities such as having to clean themselves in public toilets and use paper towels or newspaper to create makeshift sanitary pads. No women should have to live like this. There will be a bin set up at the entrance of All of the Tights so yogi’s can donate physical products.The Rough Period suggests donating: travel size products; shampoo, conditioner, bodywash/soap etc, single toothbrushes, paw paw ointment, regular / super tampons and regular pads. New to yoga? Don’t sweat it! All of the Tights is designed for beginners to pros and every yogi in-between. Yoga mats are BYO, but there will be very limited number of mats to purchase on the door. Be sure to bring water and a towel as things are going to get as hawt and sweaty as Teyana Taylor in Yezzy’s Fade clip. Just like Kanye, we like girls and guys in yoga pants! Why? All of the Tights is designed to match yoga to the flow of live tunes in a club (goin’ up on a Tuesday) to create an unintimidating space, where guys and girls of all experiences can enjoy the incredible mind and body benefits of practicing yoga. Coming on board to sponsor the event is Kapow Meggings, that’s right – (high-fashion) leggings for men. We can’t recommend the solid gold 24 Carat Meggings enough, the perfect accessory for All of the Tights. Kapow will be selling Megging’s at the door for $10 (normally $40).
Flex in name, Flex in nature! FlexMami is the hype women you absolutely need to help you feel yourself on your yoga mat. Fresh off her starring role on Home and Away Sydney’s FlexMami is the name on everyone’s (Sunkist) lips! Known for her impeccable style and flawless taste, A+ skills and her glowin’ presence, FlexMami is Sydney’s go-to girl for hype vibes. Expect to hear tracks from The 6ix Lord Drake, the Saviour Kanye, and Chicago’s yung royal Chance the Rapper with a little Alica, @badgalriri, and Queen Bee all to the inspirational prose of DJ Khaled. No stranger to the yoga circuit, Naya Marie is a Sydney based yogi, who grew up in The 6ix and was reared on a steady diet of The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest and Nas. Having discovered yoga initially whilst backpacking in India, Naya now teaches throughout yoga studios and CrossFit gyms in Sydney. Known for the lightness of her classes, Naya is all about creating dynamic sessions for yogis of all experience levels. With Naya as your guide, blessings will keep falling on your mat!
