After taking either Heartsaver First Aid, Heartsaver CPR, or Healthcare Provider CPR online, the American Heart Association requires a skills verification. Sign up for this class and come demonstrate your skills for one of our AHA Instructors.
In order to qualify for certification through this process, you must*:
1. Go to onlineaha.org, pay for and complete your chosen course(s), print the Course Completion Certificate(s)
2. Sign up for and attend a Skills Verification Session within the 60 period after course completion
3. Bring your Course Completion Certificate to class
4. Properly demonstrate your skills.
If you are unable to attend the scheduled skills sessions, please call 970-641-7276 to arrange for a private session (higher fees will apply).
*For HealthCare Provider CPR Recertification, you do not need to do the online class, but you will need to take a written test and provide a copy of a current CPR card.
Cancellation policy If a cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before a class, tuition will be credited for another GVH EMS class, but not refunded. If less than 48 hours, no credit or refund will be issued.
