Join Dr. John Tighe, Medical Director of the SLCH Cardiovascular Institute for a free seminar on the benefits of coronary calcium scoring to detect heart disease.

Dr. Tighe will discuss:

  • Traditional risk-factor based assessment of coronary heart disease.
  • The coronary calcium scoring process, which includes a CT scan to look for the development of calcium in plaque on the walls of the coronary arteries.
  • How calcium scoring can aid in earlier interventions when preventative therapies have their largest impacts.
