Two separate Advanced Doula trainings will be offered from 6:30p to 9:30p on 10/13/17 and 10/14/17:
Labor comfort skills are the backbone of doula work. When you take your initial doula training, you learn the basics of hands on labor support. If you’re ready to take it to the next level, here are some helpful skills for your doula bag. During this session we will:
One of the things you don’t always realize when you decide to become a doula is that you will eventually be mentoring other doulas. Whether this is a formal arrangement or something that spontaneously happens, mentoring other doulas benefits the entire community.
Three CEUs will be applied for through DONA International for each of these sessions. If you attend both, you will earn six CEUs.
