Native Americans referred to the creek running through the area
as Chickasha Bogue, and the name stuck, later Anglicized to
Chickasaw. A lawless element engaged in piracy and robbery used the
back coves and bayous along the Chickasaw Bogue as hiding places.
Our hidden Treasure.
All proceeds go towards the Chickasaw Historical Society and Chickasaw City Schools. We ask that you bring a canned good(s) to donate to
Chickasaw United Methodist Church food Pantry.
