Death Valley offers the most unique experience for photographers. The diversity of the landscape is almost unimaginable, and its beauty is rugged, raw and fierce. Explore and photograph this mysterious landscape from the La Playa Racetrack, to the painted hills of Artist Palette, from salt formations to a ghost town, and walk along the ridges of sand dune, then photograph star trails under the night sky. Join me on this 5-day photographic journey for sunrises, sunsets and star trails under the desert sky.

INCLUDES

Field sessions, classroom session including Lightroom and Photoshop techniques, and critiques. 

At JKPW, we are proud to present the best photo workshops on the market today. Our instructors are professional photographers and teachers, and are dedicated to your learning, fun and adventure. We scout, and scout, and then scout some more before every workshop, even if it is a location we photograph on a regular basis. We want you to get the most out of your workshop, so we do everything we can to ensure your happiness and success.

NOT INCLUDED: Lodging, airfare, transportation and meals. Discounted lodge rooms have been blocked at The Furnace Creek Ranch. Booking information and code will be provided upon registration for the workshop. Participants are urged to ride-share to shot locations. If you would like to arrange for car-share or room-share prior to arrival with other participants, please advise your coordinator.

*PLEASE NOTE: Every attempt will be made to ensure a day at the Racetrack, as well as night photography sessions. If weather prevents us from travel to the Racetrack on scheduled day, we will continue to re-arrange our schedule to accommodate this portion of the trip. If unexpected severe weather prevents us from reaching La Playa, or if severe overcast skies prevent us from star trails, Jennifer King Photography Workshops will not offer partial refunds. 

ITINERARY 

To ensure that you have the best photo workshop experience, limted space is open. Fewer participants to compete for space in the field, and more attention from instructors. We want you to take home incredible photos and memories, and we are dedicated to doing what we can to make that happen. This workshop will include a schedule of sunrises, sunsets and night photography. We will schedule breaks throughout the day for meals and rest. 

TUESDAY FEB 14TH Meet & Greet 7:30pm Furnace Creek Ranch

WEDNESDAY FEB 15TH Sunrise and sunset field session.

THURSDAY FEB 16TH Sunrise and sunset field session.

FRIDAY FEB 17TH FSunrise and sunset field session.

SATURDAY FEB 18TH Sunrise and sunset field session.

SUNDAY FEB 19TH Sunrise field session. Workshop concludes after breakfast.

We will have 2-3 nights of night photography depending on clear skies.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: 
Cancellation and refund policy for workshops within the United States:Cancellations made prior to 90 days of workshop are refunded less $50 processing fee. 
Cancellations made between 60-90 days of workshop are refunded 50% of workshop fee. 
Cancellations made 60 days from the start of the workshop are non-refundable. 

You are encouraged to purchase trip-insurance to protect your investment in case of an unforseen emergency or situation that requires you to cancel. 

If you choose the deposit option for a workshop, balance is due 90 days prior to event. An invoice will be sent for payment balance. If you fail to pay the balance after due date, the deposit is forfeited.
